Greenhills School of Health Sciences Holds 2nd Graduation Ceremony.

Greenhills School of Health Sciences held its 2nd graduation ceremony for 92 students for certificate programs on Saturday 3rd June 2017.

Having fulfilled all academic requirement stipulated by the school, 51 Physiotherapy Assistants, 22 Healthcare Assistants, 12 Medical Laboratory Assistants and 7 Occupational Therapy Assistants were graduated

Rev. Dr. Charles Antwi-Boasiako, Founder of Greenhills School of Health Sciences said the graduates have been equipped with distinctive skills in their respective programs. He expressed confidence that the graduates had not only gained an invaluable educational experience but were trained as missionaries of Christ to propagate the Gospel in their profession.

The Provost of the Department of Biomedical Allied Health Sciences of the University of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Ferdinand Ayeh- Kumi encouraged the graduates to reflect the teachings and life of Christ in their field of endeavor.

The Minister of State in Charge of Tertiary Education, Prof. Kwesi Yankah urged the graduates to use the skills acquired to impact society and the world at large. He is very hopeful that this government will work behind the clock to break all unnecessary bureaucracy and make it easier for institutions to be given presidential charter to start issuing their own degrees.

Dr. Clement Opoku-Okrah acknowledged the accreditation Greenhills School of Health Sciences has received from both Allied Health Professionals Council to offer two years certificate and National Vocational Training Institute to offer Grade 1 and 2 certificate programs.

Hon. Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah, the Deputy Minister of Health stated emphatically in her speech that, the doors of the Ministry is open to Greenhills, the government is ready to work with the private sector to help them actualize and achieve their full potential.

In crowning the graduation, a seventeen - member team from George Fox University, U.S.A the Affiliate University comprising of four (4) Professors and thirteen (13) Doctors of Physiotherapy graced the occasion.
